Ms. Heather Lippincott is a licensed psychotherapist with 10 years experience working with adults and adolescents. Her goal in working with people is to assist them to reach their greatest potential. Ms. Lippincott views her therapeutic role as that of a guide, believing that we each have innate wisdom that assists us in navigating life's challenges and objectives.
She has worked with clients experiencing medical concerns, anxiety, trauma, depression, adjustment to life changes, ADHD, spirituality, addiction, grief, career, and education goals.
Prior to attending graduate school, Ms. Lippincott received her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. For several years she worked as a community and inpatient social worker at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Upon completing the MSW program at East Carolina University, She worked for many years in community settings where she provided substance abuse treatment, as well as individual, and group therapy. Ms. Lippincott also has experience working with the Veteran population which includes training related to treating combat ptsd as well as military sexual trauma.
